37km before lunch, 40km in the afternoon. Total climb 977m, descent 853m. 33km between 1 and 4%, 8km 5 to 8%, 2km over 8%. Evenly split morning and afternoon.
Le Depart. Assemble Falmouth for possible early preamble around town (details tba) before catching the 9:15 St.Mawes Ferry.
It’ll be 9:45 by the time we leave St.Mawes with nearly 40 hilly kilometers up the Roseland to go. Hopefully we’ll get lunch in St.Austell before 1:30pm and be on our way before 2pm for another tough 40km to Dobwalls.
